Researchers have been astonished to discover how essential oils support proper blood circulation, not only in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, but also in assisting in the disposal of toxic waste from the tissues. The constituents found in various oils have the ability to increase both, the efficiency of oxygen absorption within cells and the utilization of oxygen from other sources such as food and water.
Brain Power! How many of you would love to have better memory and mental stamina - in short, better brain power? How often do you look at your children or grandchildren and realize that they are struggling to think, to study, remember, to comprehend? Have you ever given them a task and had them come back 15 minutes later and say, "I don't remember what you told me to do, Dad," or "Mom, I forgot what you wanted me to get."
The reason for many of these problems can be traced to the chemical saturation we face in our society today. We are inhaling chemicals through the air we breathe. We are putting chemicals on our hair in the shampoos and hair treatments we use, and in our hairsprays, colorings, and perms. We are putting chemicals on our bodies with soaps, perfumes, colognes, and aftershaves.
And that's not bad enough! We use toothpaste that has toxic chemicals like sodium lauryl sulfate as an ingredient. These chemicals don't simply move through our systems before being flushed out. They lodge throughout our bodies, in tissues, in fat cells, in our organs, and in our brains.
When people ingest and inhale as many toxic chemicals as we do today, it causes problems and a whole range of health challenges, one of which is something I call "brain fog". The chemicals plug receptor sites, making it difficult or impossible for our bodies to respond to stimuli as they should. When it comes to our brains, we often find we can't think as clearly as we once could and we can't remember - we just aren't as we should be.
Fortunately, essential oils have the ability to digest chemicals in the human body. They have the ability to go in and clean up receptor sites and to nourish neurotransmitters so thy are able to support normal, healthy neurological function.
That's why I call essential oils "the Missing Link" in the healthcare picture. They work, and they are so easy to use, both on our bodies and through diffusion. When they are massaged or applied directly, they are absorbed into our tissues. When they are diffused into the atmosphere of our homes or offices, we breathe in their healthful effects through our nasal and buccal cavities.
Then they move into the sensory cortex of our brains, where they get to work clearing out harmful chemicals. Then it becomes possible for more clean, pure oxygen to get through, and, as a result, our brains and bodies are awakened. In effect, we empower our bodies and brains to function as they should.
Although there are a number of essential oils that contribute to mental acuity, I would like to suggest that you try our Brain Power. This specially designed blend of cedarwood, sandalwood, frankincense, melissa, Australian blue cypress, lavender, and helichrysum is high in sesquiterpenes, which have been shown to cross the blood-brain barrier.
