No one diet works for everyone.  When the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it’s too much of a generalization. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets don’t work in the long run.

We need to improve our health by changing poor diet habits to healthy ones. In our American society this can be difficult but, with prayer and determination, you can have a healthy and happy family. The best way to transform your health is to embrace a positive lifestyle change.

When eating whole foods in their original state - you ensure that all of your body's systems get the proper nutrition required. Whole foods carry out all the requirements of your body's nutritional needs - absorption, assimilation and elimination - the essentials of a healthy body system. Learning what foods create an inflammation response is vital to repair your body.

Stacey will assess your current state of health to identify root cause(s) of any symptoms or conditions you may be concerned about. All things play a roll; life stresses, age, activity level, metabolic rate, chemical saturation, and your medical history. Then, assessing your personal goals then recommend an approach based on your body's' needs and your goals. 

I believe in "health from nature." Only natural, non-toxic agents are recommended for building total health. Learning to eat well is a lifelong process; we should "eat to live, not live to eat."

Eat living and uncooked organic foods: Living raw foods retain a higher level of enzymes, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and fibers. Eat smaller portions: Reduce the burden on the digestive system for optimum health and longevity. Eliminate processed foods, sugar, and other stimulants so you will start to become aware of what your body truly needs in order to thrive. Total health is a perfectly balanced state of body, mind and spirit.

One-on-One Nutritional Counseling for adults & children

Fees: $35/hour + $20 for "Living Balanced Book" 
Follow-up appointment fee will be determined, case-by-case, at initial consultation session.

Overview:
This consultation is where we determine and set up your realistic goals and provide you with guidance to help you reach them. Changes need to be addressed and implemented gradually; education is an important part of this process. Everyone's biochemistry is different and there is no "one size fits all" diet.


The 1st session includes discussion and exploration of your diet, cravings, exercise habits, medical history, stress, and personal lifestyle choices. During this session we will evaluate your health, identify problems, and strategically design a plan that will work with your specific lifestyle, satisfy your personal taste, and supply you with the best type of nourishment.

Pre-requisites: A 3-5 day food log is required and LB health form to be filled out.


In-Home Nutrition Detox and Make-Over

Fees: $100/flat rate

Overview
The In-Home Nutrition Detox and Make-Over is an opprtunity to identify the toxic chemicals that may unknowingly exist in your household. This will also include time discussing your current eating habits and how they can be altered to drastically improve your health. This is a hands-on appointment that will be beneficial in learning how to live a healthier lifestyle.


The home visit includes a consultation regarding lifestyle, current habits, health concerns, dietary restrictions, etc. We will look at current food choices, both in the home and away from home (i.e dining out). Clients are educated in healthier options and how to properly apply these principals (including the development of a new grocery list). If desired, we can take a trip to the local market/grocery store to learn about making better choices (see Grocery Store Field Trip option).

Includes:
A detailed exploration inside your living environment; cabinets, refrigerator, water supply, cleaning supplies, ventilation systems, etc. Showing you how to better organize your health.

Grocery Store Field Trip

Fees: $35/hour

Overview: 
During the Grocery Store Field Trip, I will teach you how to successfully navigate your way to good health.  This extremely helpful one-on-one time will have a dramatic impact on your ability to distinguish between healthy products and products that market themselves as "healthy". Throughout this process, I will also teach you how to detect hidden dangers in foods by reading nutrition labels.


Includes:

An in-depth evaluation of products, teaching you how to detect hidden dangers in foods by reading nutrition labels. It will also cover better options when purchasing cleaning supplies, pet foods and how to return and get your money back for products that are not considered "healthy".

Prerequisites: Completion of Session 1 and completed reading of Living Balanced.
Approximate Time: 1.5 -2 hours


Group rates available: 3-5 people max  = $25/hr per person


Training for Healthy Cooking

Fees: $35/hour

Overview: 
In this session you will receive private, food preparation lessons. You will learn helpful techniques to create power-packed meals while combining your personal interests and cooking styles, making them practical for everyday living.


Includes:
Training for Healthy Cooking includes discussion on both cooking methods and RAW-food meal benefits. During this, you will learn how to fix simple dishes that are delicious and easy to make. This is an incredibly helpful tool to set up menu planning, assisting in your daily decision of what to prepare. I like to use kitchen tools; Cuisinart – Griddler, VitaMix, and Food Processer.

Prerequisites: Reading of Living Balanced, and list of meals you currently make at home.
Approximate Time: 1.5 – 2 hours
